The Howard Bowmen Archery Club was formed in 1961 and our indoor/outdoor venue is located in Lemsford near Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire.

Primarily participating in target archery, the club benefits from having its own field and indoor range so our established members have access seven days a week 365 days a year.

Our club has approx. 80 members from the age of 10 up to the over 60's. A mixture of recurve, longbow and compound bows are used by our members with league events held all year round.

Three qualified coaches are members of the Club and we hold regular club nights for our beginners every Tuesday night.

Our beginner course consists of 6 lessons and is run under the GNAS (Grand National Archery Society) guidelines. After completing the course, club membership is available.

Potential new members are always welcome but we regret we are unable to accommodate people who turn up without prior arrangement, therefore please email howardbowmen@gmail.com for further details.
